Bluegrass Care Navigators Ranks 6th Among Largest US Hospices

Sep 27, 2024

Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) has been ranked sixth in Overall Quality among the 50 largest hospices in the United States, according to a recent study published in the American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Medicine. The ranking is based on three key quality indicators: caregiver surveys (CAHPS scores), caregiver and employee satisfaction scores, and sentiment scores from Google reviews and Glassdoor ratings. The study assessed both non-profit and for-profit hospices across the nation.

“These scores don’t happen without the commitment of our entire team to provide the best possible care to our patients and families at just the right time,” Liz Fowler, President and CEO of BCN, said. “As a non-profit hospice provider, our focus is on more visits to patients and families whenever they need them over profit margins. We have earned this Quality ranking because our team has built a culture of compassion, respect, dignity and focusing on what matters most to patients and their families.”

This prestigious ranking reflects BCN’s dedication to providing high-quality, wholistic care for patients and their families. The study’s evaluation of patient and caregiver experiences, as well as staff engagement and satisfaction, highlights BCN’s role nationally as a leader in end-of-life care.
